Long days of castings into the night
Be prepared to do castings at all hours of the day and night. People in china work very long hours and very late. One time this week 2 girls got called to go on a casting at 10pm after the photographer had finished his job. Be prepared for a wake up call at 8am for a suprise 9am casting the same day. Actually, they call you at 8:45 and to be ready at 9am. Today we are waiting the whole day for clients and now we start castings at 7pm. It.'s like that all over Asia. We've got it so good in the west. I will never again listen to a model complain in the states. They just do not know what is hard work in peak season! It's like during fashion week but for 3 months!
